17th November 2008 All Elinor Brent-Dyer fans will be very sad to learn that Helen McClelland died during the evening of 12th November. Helen was the author of Behind the Chalet School, the biography of Elinor Brent-Dyer (available from Bettany Press). She also contributed regularly to the FOCS magazine, and has written introductions for the Girls Gone By editions of Three Go to the Chalet School, Excitements for the Chalet School and Prefects of the Chalet School.
